The Pregame Ritual (Warm Up Like a Creative Athlete)
Nerves, anxiety, and inner chatter can often cause us to doubt our preparation, and send us into flight, fight, or freeze mode just as we’re about to “go on”.
In this virtual workshop (Part 3 of our new Mindset Mini Series), we’ll explore what it means to peak at the right time, and how our pregame can help us consistently get into our optimal state of performance. We’ll break down the moments just before a performance and use science-backed tools to help decrease negative chatter and increase our confidence in the room.
In this workshop, we will:
- Engage with the pressure of “big” moments that may cause us to freeze
- Experience tools that help us with nerves and performance anxiety
- Identify where confidence comes from – and how to train it
- Understand how to trust our preparation
DATES: Monday April 25th (video drops) & Thursday April 28th (live virtual session)

HOW THE COURSE WORKS:
Each course will take approx 3 hours of time (including course, practice, and the live session).
Part One: The Course Drops (1 hr) On Monday of each course week, we will send you an hour-long recording that features the Mindset Team presenting about the weekly topic.
Part Two: Practice (1 hr) After watching the recording where we teach the material, we will offer some guidance to go deeper with these principles. These may include something to watch, read or do or even some reflection questions as a way of processing this new information and making some connections to your own individual process.
Part Three: Live Session (1 hr) On Thursday of each course week, meet with members of the Mindset Team in a live virtual session. This is a chance for you to share what you explored in your Practice, connect with other members of the Mindset community, and seek clarification and insight from Mindset coaches on this topic.
