ABOUT THE TEACHERS:
Erica Bream: Over the course of her career, Casting Director Erica S. Bream (CSA) has had the opportunity to work on a myriad of projects across all platforms. A few of these titles include TV series such as ALTERED CARBON (Netflix), COLONY (USA), WORKAHOLICS (Comedy Central), HOUSE OF LIES (Showtime), CRIMINAL MINDS (CBS), PANDORA (CW) and many more. Additionally, Bream has been a part of the Casting team for numerous TV pilots and miniseries, including 11.22.63 (Hulu) and FULL CIRCLE (DirecTV). She has worked on several feature films including STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS (Paramount) and many indie films, such as the John Legend produced BREAKING THROUGH.
Bream has also worked extensively in the internet and short film categories, most recently casting the award-winning RITA MAHTOUBIAN IS NOT A TERRORIST (AFIDWW short) as well as the coming of age story PINKY (Refinery 29). She has also ventured back to her first love, theatre, working closely with THE BLANK THEATRE COMPANY and IAMA THEATRE COMPANY in Los Angeles on many main-stage plays, as well as eleven years casting The Blank's prestigious YOUNG PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL. Bream is an Artois Award winner (Casting Society of America) and nine time nominee for her work in theatre, television and short films.
Joe Towne: Joe is an award-winning writer and director who got his degree in Acting from the University of Southern California. He’s been a coach for the past 19 years for both businesses and performers – some of whom are selling that product you just bought or starring in that movie you Netflixed last night. This work compelled him to write a book about how our inner reality affects our outer experience, which led him to be a guest on the Dr. Oz show. As an actor he has worked with people like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Hillary Swank and you can see him opposite Rebel Wilson in Isn’t It Romantic, which premiered in February of 2019 and is now available on iTunes.
Joe’s also an acting coach at one of the top studios in Hollywood where he co-created their audition technique program. He works with professional actors and athletes, as they transition from their sport into the entertainment industry. He also works with corporations bringing Mindset into practice in the workplace. Last summer Joe helped coached up the top 24 high school quarterbacks in the country at the Elite 11 weekend in Los Angeles.
